On Thursday, April 11, more than 400 guests attended the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto’s 20th Book of Life Celebration. Book of Life Chairs Judy & David Engel welcomed 13 new inductees, who were honoured for ensuring a strong and vibrant Jewish community in the future by leaving a legacy. Special guest Julie Platt, Chair, Jewish Federations of North America, engaged in a fascinating conversation with Adam Minsky about antisemitism and what it means to live as a proud Jew. The second edition of A Decade of Stories was launched, containing 177 stories from the last decade. It was a beautiful evening for Toronto’s Jewish community.
